Your favorite character.....

Good Morning Room 13 Bloggers!!

When you are reading a truly great book, what stands out to you?  Character, theme, setting, conflict?  What draws you in to a really good book?  When I think about some of the books that I have loved,  it's the characters that stand out the most to me.  Ann Shirley from Anne of Green Gables, Scout from To Kill A Mockingbird, Elizabeth Bennett from Pride and Prejudice, Jo March from Little Women, Holden Caulfield from Catcher in the Rye ......I have so many favorite characters I don't think I could name them all.  But what is it about these characters that speak to us?

Think about who YOUR favorite character in literature is.  Explain HOW and WHY the character changed from the beginning of the story to the end of the story.  Be sure to use at least 2 specific examples from the story to explain your answer.  Why do you think you related to this character in such a strong way?  Be specific.
